    I Love Days Like Today

Sorry folks but I got tears in my eyes that I haven't had since Bowden was wheeling and dealing. For the first time in a long time it is nice to be buyers instead of sellers. Makes this day and the season worth following like worshiping your religion.

I thought I just get that out before the 4 pm deadline.

You know, I get the distinct impression that you don't much like the idea of Royce Clayton as the everyday SS of the Reds.

... and I said so when the trade went down. I would like to thank Royce for doing all possible to prove himself inept since the deal. He will be a serious drag and an impediment to the Reds playoff chances if sent out there everyday at SS.

I lov this day as well. Just as much (if not more so) for the speculation and rumours.

    Fun.

I hear some people say the Reds need a LH power bat for the bench, and others say they need a RH power bat for the bench. Which is it? Maybe we can get both from KC--Matt Stairs and Reggie Sanders.

For me trade deadline day is becoming more and more like the NFL draft. More hype and speculation than substance.
When all is said and done more is said than done.

in the 9th inning yesterday I saw EE, Ross and Denorfia available. There was no LH bat there.

I don't disagree with you. I think they could use both a LH and a RH power bat for the bench.
