It's almost certainly a rehash of the day's two moves, but my interest is perked.

It really sucks to be at work right now, doesn't it?

I nearly called in sick. Wish I would have now.

Olney says, "Lohse will go into the bullpen."

    Good news.

    Lancaster has said that..........

Lohse apparently will be in bullpen

Just got off a conference call with Kyle Lohse. I asked if Wayne had indicated to him whether he would be moving into the rotation here or staying in the bullpen. His response:

"As of right now, I believe Iím going to stay in the role that Iím at. Ultimately, itís up to him. I think theyíve got some good guys there, and weíll play it by ear. Iím ready to do whatever it takes to help the team out."

And a little more from later in the call:

"Iím willing to do whatever it takes to help out the team. If thatís the role they see me in, thatís fine and weíll go with it. Ultimately, Iím not going to make a big fuss about it, but Iíd like to start again and thatís where I see myself fitting in. Iím not going to come over there and demand anything, of course Ė Iím going to try to fit in and help the team win. If they see the role in the bullpen as being the best fit, then thatís what Iím going to go do and do my best at it."

    Re: Espn....

Sounds like Kruk and Philips are high on the trades and the Reds bullpen. Kruk actually said Cincinnati would have to be considered WC front runners at this point.

    Re: Espn....

They acted like it would be an update of possible news but it was 100% rehash. Nothing new. Nice to have the Trade show discussing the Reds for 3 or 4 minutes though!

It was also the start of ESPN baseball guys backtracking on saying the Reds have no shot at the playoffs that they've been claiming all season. Natural I guess, but the later it gets the more they'll backtrack.

    Re: Espn....

reaction from ESPN completely opposite from whats on here, sounds like people that are not emotionally attached to the Reds think they were good moves.
