Daniel Dorn, Pioneer League hitter of the week

    Pioneer League
    Daniel Dorn, Billings
    .455 (10-22), 4 R, 3 2B, 0 3B, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 3 BB, 4 SO, 0 SB, .864 SLG
Dorn went yard against Helena on both Monday and Tuesday, the first two homers of his young professional career. He closed out the week by going 3-for-3 on Sunday, but it wasn't enough as Billings fell to Helena, 3-1. Dorn's .347 average ranks second in the Pioneer League.

I heard somebody saying he was a draft steal and had a sweet swing while I was watching the CWS. Looks like they may have been right.

He fell to the round he did because he missed much of his last season due to injury.
