Did it result in any gain for the Reds? The Cards had an over .500 record when he was on the DL, and then went on a long losing streak once he came back.

Pujols to have MRI on elbow

You hate to wish an injury on anybody, but this could be the break the Reds need to catch the Cardinals.

In my book, its never smart to celebrate the injuries of others, although this would be a break the Reds could use. I'd like to get the Central lead, because this Wildcard race is close enough that one team going on a hot streak could win it in a hurry.

But I'm not celebrating this, either way. The minute you start jumping up and down because Pujols is hurt, the same thing happens to Dunner, or someone else.

    Karma is a mean mother.
I hate the Cardinals. I hate the Cubs.
    Let's. Go. Reds.

Last time Pujols was on the DL, it didn't result in much of a gain for the Reds.
