Germano wasn't THAT bad.
So far it's 5! Reds defense has made the bullpen look bad tonight too.Originally Posted by Redlegs23

Lofton grounds to Cormier, 9-4 Dodgers going to the bottom of 7. Good night guys.
i wouldnt be suprised if clayton starts tomm
Well, it's not the bullpen's fault that Freel drops a fly ball and Clayton can't make a throw.
but can you pitch?Originally Posted by redlegs7089
I just love when calls are blown by umps and games are lost. Im getting so pissed right now.
Cincinnati RedsVOTTO
5 outs later......Dodgers score 5 runs and take a 9-4 lead.

Before we hang Clayton, remember who's really at fault here:Originally Posted by Redlegs23
Ryan. Freel. Had he caught the ball, the bases aren't loaded, the runners that ARE on are on first and second, and a ground ball to Clayton ends the inning with an easy step-on-the bag.
Clayton and Cormier should never have been put in the situations they were placed in. They are still at fault, but don't bury the new guys and absolve Freel because he's a fortunate son here in Cincy.
I hate the Cardinals. I hate the Cubs.
Let's. Go. Reds.
"Per Aspera Ad Astra"
That is why the Reds will not make the playoffs bad defense
After Encarnacion made a throwing error that cost us a game he was benched for like 3 games. Anyone want to bet that Clayton is back out there tomorrow though? Probablly batting leadoff.
OK guys, I take blame for this potential loss. I was at class and during the break I logged on to follow the game when we were up 1-0. During the 3 minutes I was online the Dodgers scored their first 3 runs. I just got home from class and the score was 4-4 when I turned on the TV to see Clayton pull Hatte off the bag and then the Dodgers proceeded to score 5 more runs. I've watched this game for about a total of 8 minutes now and have seen the Dodgers score 8 of their 9 runs and the Reds blow a lead and a tie. I will take one for the team and turn the TV off and bore myself for the rest of the night. The Reds should proceed to comeback now. Goodnight.
