I'll give some kudos to Narron tonight for going to the bullpen early.
    Kept us in the game.

Maybe now that he actually has one, and trusts it, it will improve the way he manages during a game.

    Did i miss something?

Reds swept by the Dodgers in a three game series WITHOUT playing the 3rd game?

I bet Denorfia could not even pull that off.

The inning where the Lizard gave up the 5th run, he started the inning with 99 pitches. Had that last run not scored, it would have been a one run game, which the Reds still *probably* lose, but it would have made it a different game down the stretch.

I'm not suggesting it was a bad move by Narron, but I don't think he deserves props for it. The Lizard had thrown 106 pitches tonight. Bringing in the bully at that point was a no-brainer.

Milton vs. Maddux in his first Dodger start.

    Odds not good.

Might have missed something, but I think the pitch count was around 80 startign the 5th. A normal innning would have brought it to around 95 (and them PH for him)

I agree it was a non-brainer, but lately Narron has lacked a brain to make such a move.
