who will make a claim for A-Rod if he is put on waivers?

I was just curious.. the Yankee fans are down on him and i was wondering since it has effected his play, what if the Yanks, put him on waivers like the Braves did with Andrew Jones.

does the thought nobody does and the Reds do a suprise and make a claim in a agreement we trade Milton in a package for him?.. just a curious thought.. i doubt that happens.. just curious..

Do I think someone would claim him? Yes. He's still A-Rod and I think Texas is paying a chunk of his remaining salary.

Do I think the Yankees would let him go just because the fans are down on him? Absolutely not, not unless its a good trade for them still.

If you think the fans are mad now, wait until they did something that foolish and then they lose that bat for the post season run.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

The cash doesn't go with the player. If the Yankees can get someone to take A-Rod, they pocket whatever money the Rangers agreed to pay.

I would laugh if the Red SOx claimed A Rod.

They would, but the Yankees would pull him back. There is no way that ARod is going anywhere this season, no way.

Anybody could. Would they? probably not many outside of LA, NY, or Chicago.
