Just as I'm a sports uniforms freak, I also appreciate jacket styles, and I must say that I miss the styles that the Starter company used to come out with in the 80s and 90s. Apparently, Reebok and Majestic think there's still a market for the Starter jackets of yesterday, because they've basically copied one of Starter's styles.
I'm glad to see these make a comeback. Did you own one of these (or similar) back in the day?
Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.
I used to love those things. Thats the only coat I owned in the 90's. By the way, I keep looking, but I think there is something wrong with that Reds one. For some reason, I keep thinking I should see Dave Miley in that jacket somewhere. Yikes, thats a scary thought. Imagine the scared kids who owned that jacket but never got the start because they weren't scrappy enough.

I HATE Reebok, though.
My only problem with those jackets is the amount of noise they make, can hear someone wearing one a mile away.

Sweet! I still have my Reds Starter Jacket from the mid-90s. It is still in pretty good shape. Maybe I can start wearing it in public again! (Oddly it has a lot of black on it and black wasn't even one of the Reds colors back then... interesting)
I have a starter jacket of the old style that Sparky and the boys wore in the 70's. Too fat to wear it now though.

That was what I first remembered about Starter jackets too. I wonder how long before it happens again.
