In last night's game notes, Fox Sports wrote that Bronson had his hair braided into cornrows in hopes of breaking his winless streak.
If this is so, I can't wait to laugh at that....you know it's going to be ugly!
But I hope it works!

He could get cornrows or just pitch better. I would take the latter for helping him break his winless streak.
Don't you remember when he had them in boston?
I think it was 2004.Originally Posted by mole44

Wow! I didn't know he did that when he was in Boston....reminds of Napoleon Dynamite, when his brother Kip tries to be a gangster.

Arroyo tries new 'do in hunt for No. 10
Josh Katzowitz
The cornrows are back, and nobody knows how long they're going to stay on top of Bronson Arroyo's head. It all depends, Arroyo said, on how well he pitches in Thursday's 12:35 p.m. game against the Cardinals.
"If I'm lights out, maybe I'll stick with it the rest of the season," said Arroyo, who is 0-for-8 while going for his 10th win of the season and thus changed his look Tuesday.
The last time he needed to break out of a slump and made the drastic move of transforming his hair into cornrows, it worked. In 2004 with the Boston Red Sox, he began the year 2-7, but in the second half of the season he went 7-2.
He believes in the power of his hair.
"In '04, it was the same kind of thing," Arroyo said. "I was trying to get on a hot streak. I left them in for the World Series. I was trying to avoid it this year. I kept going, 'I can beat it. I can beat karma.' I figured it was worth a shot."
And the Reds management? What does it think of Arroyo's new 'do?
"He won a World Series in it, so I guess it's OK," Narron said. "If we win the World Series, I'll get it."
Said general manager Wayne Krivsky: "Three days (of rest) and the corn rows. He can do whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned."

I just hope there isn't a story written about it
