I wish I could drive a diesel but I make to many short trips and would destroy the engine.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

It only get 15(city)/19(highway) mpg but I love it. And at 6'4", 235# it fits me a little better than the 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback I had until I bought the truck. I do miss the 40mpg on the car though.

    I have a 2001 Tahoe. Luckily I drive less than 50 miles a week.

We buy new vehicles every 10 years (I'm with WOY and Roy - it's just a way to get where I'm going), so I have another 5 years with the Tahoe.

But my next car is going to use E85 or something like that. I refuse to give any more money to the Middle East.
Will trade this space for a #1 starter.

I'm in my 35th anniversary Mustang for the moment. The wife has a 2005 X-Terra. I'm thinking of trading in and getting something, though I don't know what yet, just want something new.

Re: What type of car do you drive?

I drive a 2004 Toyota Prius during the week and a 2005 Honda Odyssey on the weekends. I love both cars, but they're loaded to the gills with technology. Nav system, DVD player, keyless entry, backup camera, run flat tires, heated seats, XM radio, bluetooth, etc. I'm soooo domesticated. We're discussing (I'm for it, my wife's against it) getting a motorcycle (or two) to save even more gas money. They're extreeemely economical, right guys?

Slapped a shade tree tune-up and new filters on mine two days ago. Doubled my mileage immediately. It needed one baaaaad.

'98 VW Golf. It's been a very good car, but I don't like how VWs have "sensors" go out that cause the engine light to come on, even though there's nothing really wrong with the car, and it costs $600 to replace them and get that darned light turned off, like I had to do for my brother's car (2000 Jetta). The check engine light has been on in my car for about a year and a half — I've put probably 35K miles on it since the light started intermittently cutting on and off two years ago, and I notice no discernable drop in engine performance or gas mileage.

2001 Infiniti G20. First time I'd ever bought a brand new car and now that it's paid off, I plan on driving it until it's coughing, wheezing and begging for mercy.

These days, I'd much rather have no car payment than a flashy new set of wheels.

    The wife-to-be has a 2001 Ford Focus.

Re: What type of car do you drive?

Our family car, which my wife drives most of the time, is a 2005 Hyundai Sonata. It gets decent mileage for a sedan, around 32 mpg. I drive a 2003 Ford E350 cargo van that gets about 12 mpg. I will be upgrading to a 2006 Freightliner Sprinter in the next few months. That one does a bit better on fuel with that turbo diesel it has, so that should cut down on my $400 a week fuel bill.
