So we lose a player because of poor management last night? Sad.

    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Merker's career probably just ended with that. I really hope I'm wrong, because in the event the team makes it to the playoffs, I'd like to have him around.

And does this mean Mercker is done? 3rd trip to the DL this year and all?

Slap hitting, lukewarm fielding 2B's are a dime a dozen - no big loss.

Oh great. Another 35-year old soft tosser who has only struckout 61 batters and allowed 142 hits in 132.1 inning at Louisville.

but there's still the princple of it. wheather Bergolla amounts to anything is irrelavent; all that matters is that Narron's managing 'skills' might have cost the Reds' an asset. a very minor asset, but an asset none the less.

You have to really Hate JN ...in order to blame him for losing Rafael Landestoy of the AAA Louisville Bats.

I mean that is really pushing it to say he was some sort of asset.
Who was he an asset to?
Was he going to fetch a hard throwing pitcher in a trade?
Was he going to fetch anything in a trade?
You already have Olmedo and Harris down there. So he was not going to probably play for the Reds.

Loading the bases in the 14th......taking out EE........ is that not enough to bash on JN about?

Michalak's career numbers in the big league.

    8-11 in 53 appearances (18 starts), 156.3 IP, 186 H (ouch), 69 BB (double ouch), 77 K, 4.66 ERA, 1.63 WHIP (triple ouch)

Throw in that the last appearance was in 2002.

Hopefully we get a surprise tonight, because getting lit up shouldn't be a surprise!
