Texas lost their best player and OSU lost the biggest part of their defense. Troy Smith will have a big game and the OSU offense will probably win this one for OSU.

Guys... the Buckeyes are gonna have a defense regardless of what they lost last season.. not to mention the DL is one of the top DL's in the nation, and the DB's are very solid, and if they all stay around a few years have to potential to be the best Def. Backfiled in Buckeye history

I hate OSU.
Having said that, I think this matchup is totally overhyped. OSU should win this game easily. Unfortunately, OSU will probably win this game by less than 3 points and everyone will shout National Championship! when the horn sounds.

Texas returns 7 starters on both sides of the ball, including playmakers everywhere but QB. OSU, replacing 9 defensive starters and having to rely on the inconsistent Ginn as #1 WR make this game far from one-sided. Throw in a Texas-sized home field advantage and I like the Horns in this game.
Yep, and just my luck OSU-UofT falls on my wedding day.
I've told my fiancee to make the vows quick, and to not expect to see much of me at the reception.

I just dislike the fact that alot of people from Cincinnati claim OSU to be their team just b/c OSU is in Ohio......Columbus is not Cincinnati!
