I wish he would put Dunn back in the 2 spot. At least Clayton isn't getting any starts at the moment.
Hatte in the 2 spot is ideal if Dunn can just produce with RISP... Griffey is 7-16 in the last 4 games... I didnt even realize that, hopefully the upward trend continues...
I really like this lineup. Good balance of lefties-righties and also protection for Junior, protection for EE and protection for Dunn.
Love this lineup, I wouldnt have it any other way. Once these guys get settled in a little more hopefully the inconsistency goes down.

Offensively - great lineup, but with a pitcher that relies on defense to be successful - not so great. Although, after poundering a while, I don't know if the Reds can field a great defensive team with the players currently on the roster.
Anyways, GO REDS!
Ian Snell is on the hill tonight, correct? Didn't we pound him last time out in GABP?
If Aurilia can get to it, he'll make the play. The alternatate option would be Clayton and I much prefer Aurilia over Clayton. I know Casto could be an option, but with Narron I'm assuming it would be Clayton...Originally Posted by Red Rover
only thing that bothers me is this lineup sort of triggers things for Narron.. He starts making defensive replacements around the seventh inning and then next thing you know he's doing all sorts of stuff. Lefty righty switches, relief specialists coming in every other batter. He can turn a 2 hour game into a 4 hour game just like that.
Via ESPN, the Pirates are only 7-22 in games started by an opposing lefty this season. I like to hear that with Michalak and Milton starting the first 2, followed by righty Harang...looks promising.
That's the optimistic view! Let's hope after the weekend we aren't talking about we still struggle this season against the Pirates (barely over .500 currenntly) and how their young starters fooled us like they did STL.

Wow, this looks like the beginning of the end. We can't even beat the freaking PIRATES?!?! Yesterday late game it looked like the NL Central lead was going to be a half game, a day and a half later its going to be 3 and a half. Talk about blowing your opportunities. I guess you can only do so much with half the team being DFA'ed guys and player dumps.
Every night you have nothing but negative comments about the team in general.Originally Posted by GOREDSGO32
