Both, actually. should have been clearer though: Yankees-Sox doubleheader. Our dear Reds play a mere single game today.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Like the lineup. Michalak earned a start, regardless of how Pitt hits LHP'ing. Go Reds.

I didn't know the Yanx/Sox played a double today. I did see NY cranked them in the first game.

Luke Hudson must be a resilient sort, having survived the major labrum surgery, getting released, and that 10ER start against Cleveland last week to throw six one-run innings against Oakland today.

I'd love to see what KC did to fix Mr. Hudson. That was one guy I was certain there was no hope for, at least as a starter.

Um...I don't think he's "fixed." This is a guy who just gave up 10 ER in one inning of work. Maybe there is hope for him, but I certainly would not consider him a finished work.

Right now the Red Sox sure are trying hard to have some vacation time come the first of October.

Theo did that himself with his odd work.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Well, okay, "fixed" in a larger sense of seven good starts out of eight, at least. Sure, he pulled this off in 2004 as well, but this isn't coming against September callups, either.

I have this sinking feeling that the heavily RH hitting Pirates are going to light up Michalak.

Man, they must have gotten some terrible pitching in those 39 games, then.
