That would be my guess. I would be in favor of having Dan Hoard and Nuxhall somehow split the time. I always liked him and am not sure Nuxhall can do 162 games.
Dan Hoard took the UC broadcasting job, wouldn't be suprised if he takes Steve's slot.

I never hated Steve's work and I actually thought this year he was really starting to gel with Marty to make a pretty good team. I wonder if the powers-that-be want a former player in the booth. There are times when I thought that a player's insight was needed.
He's not that good. Not a big fan of Dan Hoard...what about Browning?
Maybe not full time, but I wouldn't mind Marty and Joe for some of the year
I'm very disappointed to hear this. I like Steve a lot and think he's been jerked around from Day 1. For Pete's sake, he moved his family here!
And it definitely won't be Dan.... he does the Pawtucket team and moved (he and his wife lived in different states and he wanted that to end). I don't think he'll be doing UC this year either because I've seen nothing said about him moving back to Cincinnati.

Color me disappointed too. I am not a big analyst critic (good or bad). However, I like Steve Stewart. I am sure I will get used to his replacement, but I do not like to hear this news.
I agree...Steve was starting to come around, and even show excitement when something good was happening. What's next, WLW not carrying the games anymore?
Plus, they could have at least waited until the season was over to announce it to the public.

He is doing UC this year...except this year, every game will be like a road game for him.
