Tenative Pitching Matchups (for the rest of the season)

Coming in to the home stretch I felt this would be appropriete. These are subject to change with injuries and trades and such but it will give everyone a good idea on what we are going up against. Some observations include the fact that in 7 games vs: SF NONE are against Schmidt.

I would assume that ????? will get skipped at every opportunity.

On pace to miss Schmidt both times.

38 games left... I think with those match-ups we can go 24-14

    88-74

Unfortunately the only wasy to skip the "?????" is to push Lohse back a day and then make the new person take Lohse's old slot.

Actually, skipping ????? as often as possible and still getting everyone 4 days rest, it could look like this.

    August
    21-Arroyo
    22-Lohse
    23-?????
    24-Milton
    25-Harang
    26-Arroyo
    27-Lohse
    28-?????
    29-Milton
    30-Harang
    31-OFF
    September
    1-Arroyo
    2-Lohse
    3-Milton
    4-Harang
    5-?????
    6-Arroyo
    7-OFF
    8-Lohse
    9-Milton
    10-Harang
    11-OFF
    12-Arroyo
    13-Lohse
    14-Milton
    15-Harang
    16-?????
    17-Arroyo
    18-Lohse
    19-Milton
    20-Harang
    21-OFF
    22-Arroyo
    23-Lohse
    24-Milton
    25-Harang
    26-?????
    27-Arroyo
    28-Lohse
    29-Milton
    30-Harang
    31-?????

That would mean 6 starts for ????? instead of 8 in the original post. I don't know how many of the contending teams will be doing this, of course, that would skew the original matchups pretty bad.

We might miss Chris Young against the Padres. He only threw one inning yesterday and left with a shoulder injury. That would be big to miss him. Haven't heard an update on him.
