The newly acquired pitchers so far

    Grade A: Lohse, Shoenweis, Guardado

    Grade B-: Bray

    Grade C: Franklin

    Grade D-: Cormier

    Grade F/incomplete: Majewski (injured).

As revised. Three excellent, one good, one decent, two bad.

This is "so far." Let's hope they're all As and Bs by season's end.

If you are going to grade Schoenewis already how is he not an A?
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

    I agree, too early. I'd give Bray a B-.

    Am I missing anyone?
    Lohse 100% agree.

Bray's more of a C at this point; b- best case. I'm not overwhelmed by Bray.

    Franklin's fair enough at a C grade.

Majewski's been a complete disaster. Was awful while pitching for us, then disclosed an "injury." I just think he's a bad pitcher. F, injured or not.

Considering the entire deal, I think Cormier has to be an F as well. An F to whom we owe 2.25 mil next year.

I've got my fingers crossed that both majewski and cormier both have a good september and help lead us to the playoffs.....especially majewski since he is eligible for the post season roster...

Well, if Clayton is let go, I'm sure Castro will return to whipping boy status.
Milton will still likely be in the doghouse as well, so there's plenty of company for them
Thank you Walt and Bob for going for it in 2010-2014!

It's not a problem. Our doghouse is pretty big. It has a two car garage.

Schoeneweis earns a grade after 3 innings of work?
We'll burn that bridge when we get to it.

I'm guessing he'd be graded ad nauseum if his work to this point was regarded as sub-par.
