    I've got the top pick....

in my upcoming fantasy football draft. Right now, I'm debating as to whether to take Larry Johnson, Tomlinson or even Rudi Johnson. I've got 48 hours from now to make the pick. Who would you take if you were in my position?

Tomlinson. Rivers is gonna have to lean on him.

LJ has a patchwork line. Rudi over Alexander? No way.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

    Firstly, don't take Rudi Johnson.

Tomlinson is more proven and is pretty much a lock to have a great year. Larry Johnson may have more upside based on Priest Holmes' run with the Chiefs and he could put up sililar numbers.

It's a tough choice, but I would go with LT.

Tomlinson. And I'm a Chiefs fan.

The Chiefs offense is going through a period of ...err... adjustment right now. LT is more of a sure thing than LJ.

On the other hand, LT is going to face 8/9 man fronts until Rivers proves he can play at this level.

If Rivers washes out, LT is going to be running uphill all season. Go with LJ.

I don't even think this is close: Take Larry Johnson and forget about it.

He's the best, and you go with the best. If LJ flops, then at least you took a chance on what you thought was the best.

Stop worrying about supporting players because they all have issues.

LJ will never slump. And he plays the Bengals the first week of the season- there's 200 yards guaranteed right there with 3 touchdowns.

I just drafted last week and the top 3 were LJ, Alexander, LT. I had the third pick and thrilled to get LT, allowed me to get a top pick plus i got TO, and thomas jones as my 2nd and third.

LT. With Rivers at QB, SD will rely more on LT (i.e. more attempts, more receptions). Alexander is the safe pick but he is on the cover of Madden this year so be warned. LJ concerns me for a couple of reasons: 1) new offense 2) lost two OL and FB and these were quality players too.

Oh yeah another reason to take LT ... he wears the best jersey in all of football

Larry Johnson is going to be the M.V.P. Take him.

Believe it or not I would take Peyton Manning first. Depending on how your draft is done. If it reverses after the first round and your next picks are at #20 and #21 you can pick up your starters there and have the best QB in the league along with maybe Deuce McCallister, Cadillac Brown or maybe even Reggie Bush. Dillon, Julius Jones, and Ahman Green should be available also.

I would highly suggest not taking Alexander unless you think this is the year the Madden NFL curse will be broken!

The running backs you mention are exactly why I would never take Manning with the first pick.

You're going to run Manning out there with Ahman Green?

Manning is a steal mid to late first round but a waste to take too early.

My draft is week form tonight, and if I don't pick one through four, I am going to cry like a baby.

Alexander over Johnson or LT. Al Saunders is gone from KC and LT has Rivers for a QB. Alexander still has everything in place from last year.

Go for the almost hometown pick, Alexander.

I'm just throwing possibilities out there but Green rushed for 1,800 yards a few years back. Had over 1,000 several more seasons.
