    8/28 Minors

AAA: Louisville is facing off against Norfolk standing just one game out of first. Norris Hopper doubles leading off and Brandon Watson immediately bunts him to third (I swear, that guy bunts more often than that Alex kid), but Babe Harris and Andy Abad strike out.

AA: Hosting the Mudcats of Carolina, the Lookouts are scoreless early. Homer Bailey has whiffed two of the first three.

High-A: Sarasota trails Tampa 1-0 in the second. Sam Lecure on the mound for the S-Reds.

    Low-A: Dayton was rained out.

Rookie: Billings will send the Bobcats' finest, Anthony Gressick, to the hill against those dastardly Ogden Raptors (little known fact: raptors are indigenous to heavily Mormon-populated areas).

The lowly Tides get an RBI double from Jacob "One Trick Pony" Cruz off Tom Shearn to grab a 1-0 lead, but RF Matt Kata throws out noted speedster Jose Offerman at home after an Edgardo Alfonzo flyout to stop the damage.

Is that the final line? Another excellent outing for Homer if it was.

    Re: 8/28 Minors

Chattanooga's game last night was nuts. The normally-reliable bullpen gave up seven runs in the eighth inning, but the Lookouts hold on to win, 8-7. Crazy.
