    17th annual Ohio Renaissance Festival

It's that time of year again, and I'm more excited about this season than any other. After taking last season off, I'm once again back on cast at the Ohio Renaissance Festival playing the playwright/Shakespeare's rival, Christopher "Kit" Marlowe. I get to fight with rapier once again, and engage in witty banter with the cast and patrons.

Last weekend was our opening weekend, and the season kicked off in grand fashion, so much so that I'd say it was the best weekend I've been a part of in my four years of employment with the show. This cast is phenomenal. They're young and have a lot of energy.

If you like festivals, I sincerely suggest coming down to Harveysburg and checking us out. This coming weekend is kids free weekend where kids 12 and under get in free.

We don't have an Earl of Oxford this season (although if you'd like to come out in costume and play him, I'd be happy to include you in the festivities )

Poet wise, it is just myself as Kit Marlowe, Ian Snapp as William Shakespeare and Todd Wolf as Philip Sidney.
