Anyone having problems getting Gameday Audio with OS X?

I have a Mac and more ofter than not can't get the radio stream to work. I get a never ending "beach ball." Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Gameday audio uses WMP, which Safari has problems with for some reason. It works with Netscape just fine.

All I know is that I downloaded Netscape and WMP and that the feed works with that browser but not with Safari. I normally only use Gameday audio for archived games instead of live ones though.

I don't subscribe to Gameday Audio, but I watch MLB.TV on my Mac. MLB.TV also uses Windows Media.

You might try using Flip4Mac instead of Windows Media Player. It supports newer versions of Windows Media files than Microsoft's WMP for Mac does.

Microsoft has stopped releasing updates to Windows Media Player for Mac, yet they haven't stopped updating the Windows Media format. Mac-haters, take note that it is Microsoft's stiff-arm of a competing platform that causes issues with WM files, not any flaw in Mac OS X. :

Note: Flip4Mac doesn't work with the new Intel-based Macs.
I love my Mac(s) but use a cheap PC for my MLB.tv (and other stuff that only runs on Windoze.)
