Oswalt perfect through 6 against Mets

Thought I would jinx ole Roy here.

He's at 80 pitches after 6 and the game is tied at zeroes.

Error on Everett. No hitter still in the 7th.

Error changes to a single according to gamecast.

    I guess the jinx worked.

Ryan Howard (50, 51, 52) and Pujols (40, 41, 42) have each homered three times today.

Here comes the Redszone jinx: Ramon Ortiz (yes, that Ortiz!) has a no-hitter thru six innings today against the Cardinals. Score is 0-0 in the bottom of the 6th.

    1-2-3 7th inning for Ortiz! No-hitter thru 7 innings.

I believe the closest anyone has came this year has been 7.1 innings by Zito, Zambrano, and Chris Young.

I kid you not - Ortiz has a no-hitter thru 8 innings AND has hit a solo HR. Unreal.

Broken up by Aaron Miles in the ninth.
