Next inning we have the top of the lineup....... could really use about 3 walks.. a 2B and a HR

Id settle for 1 walk and a run scoring play but would love to see us grab a 3-4 run lead and get some confidence..

Jason LaRue is not nearly as bad as his numbers indicate. The knee injury has a lot to do with his struggles this year, IMO. I think he'll bounce back to post an OPS in the .735-.750 area next year.

Harang's thrown just 45 pitches through 4? If that's correct, then that's a very economical effort.

Does anyone know where M2 is? I haven't seen him around for a while. Hope he is OK and rejoins us soon.

I'd be surprised considering he'd be a 32 year old catcher. I got a feeling his career is toast.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Harang whiffs Winn (#6), flies Vizquel to right, and grounds Hillenbrand to third. Eleven pitches, making 56 for five innings.

    2-2 after 4.5.

Hennessey has been very lucky this season to have a decent ERA with that BB/K ratio and all.

Anyone notice Austin Kearns slamming yet another homer? At least this one helped beat St. Louis, 4-1. Ramon Ortiz threw a two-hitter and homered as well.

Philadelphia beat Houston, 3-2 in ten. Ryan Howard hit #53 (!).

I thought Hat walked? How was JL's homer not a 2 run shot.

I am not watching the game...No MLB EI this year.

When i read the posts about swinging at ball 3 or 4.....is it really that clear it is a ball?

I mean....you know these umps this year....with the wide zones and the tendency to call an obvious ball a strike.

Freel slaps a single to left on the first pitch he sees.
