When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Eric Clapton cannot be narrowed to five songs, but I'll give it a shot by bands:

    Solo Clapton
    Let It Rain
    Just Like A Prisoner
    Old Love
    Motherless Children
    I Can't Stand It

    Cream
    Badge
    Tales of Brave Ulysses
    Strange Brew
    Sunshine of Your Love
    White Room

    Blind Faith/Derek & The Dominos
    Can't Find My Way Home
    Presence of the Lord
    Layla
    Crossroads

    Some others...

    John Lee Hooker
    Frisco Blues
    Boom Boom
One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer
    I'm Bad Like Jesse James
    Terraplane Blues

    Led Zeppelin
Over The Hills and Far Away
    Misty Mountain Hop
    Trampled Under Foot
    No Quarter
    Nobody's Fault But Mine

    Pink Floyd
    Not Now John
    Have A Cigar
    Dogs
    Comfortably Numb
    One of These Days

    Rush
    Finding My Way
    Freewill
    Limelight
    YYZ
    La Villa Strangiato

    Neil Young
    Powderfinger
    Down By The River
The Needle and The Damage Done
    Cowgirl In The Sand
    Sample & Hold

    Bruce Springsteen
    Adam Raised A Cain
    Tenth Avenue Freeeze Out
    Jungleland
    Rosalita
    Candy's Room

It was painful to just narrow this one to seven...

    The (Bloody) Who
    The Real Me
    Trick of the Light
    My Wife
    A Quick One/While He's Away
    Young Man Blues
    The Punk Meets the Godfather

Excellent, thanks for the heads up! If I'm finding the right show, it appears that tickets are only $15, and that's not too bad at all.

I have one of Nathanson's live albums (maybe his only one, I'm not sure), and there's plenty of clips between songs with some of his humor. He sounds like a guy who could get by doing standup comedy just as well as being a musician.

I was never much of a Stones fan, but "Fool To Cry" is one of the lesser known songs that I really enjoy. It was used in the movie Beautiful Girls, but it was left off the soundtrack for some reason.

I do like Todd Snider's "Conservative Christian, Right Wing, Republican, Straight, White American Male". But I think I like "The Ballad of the Kingsmen" even more.

One of the MTV Unplugged CD's had a fantastic version of Neil Young doing "Hurricane." It's worth a look if you can find it.

The Neil Young vs. Lynard Skynard lyric feud was one of the more underrated sidebars in rock history. I think Warren Zevon got in on the act with "Play It All Night Long."

I noticed "Hurt" here. I think those American Recordings sessions are great. I really like his versions of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and The Beatles' classic "In My Life".

One of my favorite lesser played Beatles' tunes is "Two of Us"...gets you in the mood to play hooky from work.

I used to be a big fan of "Against the Wind" & "Turn the Page", but if I'm listening to Seger these days, you can't beat "Still the Same" or "Beautiful Loser."

Ella's version of "Mack the Knife" Live from Berlin is brilliant. I also like her "Heatwave" -- they used it in Grumpy Old Men (or was it Grumpier).
