The Brewers are 13 games below .500 and trail the Astros 9-1. I think it's the Asstros who would leaf frog us.
Marty is also about to go homeless. He said you can bet the ranch that Gonzalez will pitch the 9th for the save. That's the same Gonzalez that is out for the year, and has been for some time.
There's nothing wrong with Dunn's walks. Nobody wants him to swing at bad pitches when he should walk.
But there are many at bats in which Dunn doesn't walk. In August, in those non-walk at bats, he hit .188. In August, with men in RISP, when he didn't walk, Dunn hit .188. That's the problem.
I'm glad Dunn walks when the pitches are bad. But I still want him to hit higher than .188 when he doesn't walk. The walks don't compensate for the .188. That's all.
Ross not hitting now...Javy is
"The problem with strikeouts isn't that they hurt your team, it's that they hurt your feelings..." --Rob Neyer
"The single most important thing for a hitter is to get a good pitch to hit. A good hitter can hit a pitch that’s over the plate three times better than a great hitter with a ball in a tough spot.”

Jerry's boy, Ryan Franklin to pitch
EE botches a throw to first on a routine grounder, and Bautista is on base.
Edwin has been pretty good at third lately and Marty goes on like he makes an error on every play, I just wish Marty would retire.
When I see the 2015 Reds, I see a 100 loss team.
