    First baseball player poster

Who was the first baseball player you proudly displayed on your bedroom wall in poster form?

For me a tie: Bench & Reggie Jackson

<<----- Davey Concepcion; the one with him breaking back toward the outfield for what looks like a pop fly.

I had three posters. They were all put up the same day so I don't know which one made it up first

I had Rose first, then my dad made me a double frame that I used to display Bench and Morgan. Got 'em all at the game on "poster" day. I wish I still had those now!

When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

    Johnny Bench

    Johnny was my childhood hero.

He always seemed more likable than Pete or Joe.

I had a beautiful collage that numbered around 40-50 photos. The whole collestion started with Jose Canseco. He was down on one knee, leaning forward, biceps bulging with a bat over his knee. I wanted to be him! LOL!
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

    First, Foster.

Still up with the consent of my wife -- Rose in a home run trot heading into third base with fist pumped in the air.
