What you think will be the Reds final 2006 record?

I looking for a big push. 83 wins and 79 loses - 2 games out of the wildcard.

74-77 with 11 games left: 1 Houston, 4 Cubs, 3 Marlins, 3 Pirates... I think we'll beat Clemens today, go 3-1 with the Cubbies, 1-2 with the Marlins and 2-1 with the Pirates, ending up 81-81!! .500 baseball.......

It would be nice to somehow finish 82-80

A team that goes 82-80 is probably more attractive to free agents than a team that goes 78-84 with a sad sad finish to the season

    I'm gonna go with 80-82

    0-1 vs Houston
    3-1 vs Chicago
    1-2 vs Florida
    2-1 vs Pittsburgh
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

It feels like their due to for a winning streak and 81 would be doable. But my head says there's no starting pitching left so 78 is more realistic.

78-84. Five more wins than last year!
