If I was in charge he would be.

No. Not unless there's a top-level manager ready to take the role.

If you are just going to replace him with another nobody willing to work for the lowest bid, why bother?

If they are going to replace him with Lou, or Davey Johnson or someone like that, then go for it.

    Fire everybody.

Except Wayne. I'll give him one year. He goes one year without making a stupid trade or scrappy, weak-hitting veteran acquisition and he gets one more year for me.

One more stupid trade or acquisition and I want him gone as well.

Time for action and a noticable difference NEXT YEAR! We just need hope and frankly, right now we appear to still be running on that treadmill from hell.

Without a doubt, but he won't.

    Why wait? Do it now.
Realistically, I'd say June 07 is probably when this will happen.

Re: Should Jerry Narron be fired at the end of the season?

    Yes.

His handling of pitching staff is atrocious. Leaving Arroyo in today to throw 120 pitches in a meaningless game is just an awful decision. That move itself should be enough to get him fired.

    Davey Johnson for manager!

I'm beginning to think that yes, he should be let go at the end of the season.

As much as I hate to say it, and as harmful as I believe knee jerk instability to be, my answer would be yes.
