Re: Tracy Jones Makes On Air Offer To Reds

I don't think I'd like Tracy in the booth either. However, the salary for the broadcaster for a major league baseball team does not surprise me in the least to be well over 200K. I have no clue on the market in this area, I grant you, but I would certainly expect that major league baseball teams would pay a very decebnt amount to the "voices" of their franchises. If qualified for the job, the salary level he mentions that Steve makes seems reasonable to me. I also think pilots & policemen should make more money than they do. Maybe I just think everyone should make more money!!

    OUCH!!

Another case of our front office jumping the gun and over paying for an over rated talent.

Steve is pretty much the worst announcer ever, I've never seen anyone make baseball more boring than it already is (you know its true). He never has any excitement in his voice and is completely monotone the entire time.

I really like TJ and hope he is in the booth with Marty

I would like the Reds to offer an on air rejection to Tracy.
