Now I wouldn't expect him to put up those kind of numbers for a full season, but I don't see how he couldn't put up a .750 OPS, which is what the average MLB center fielder hits. Average offense + outstanding defense = above average overall player for the position, and I think that's most certainly within Denorfia's capabilities.
Toss in his league minimum salary, and he's a guy that can provide immense value for the cost. This is a guy to be excited about, if given a proper opportunity to play center field full-time.
