Best stadium name that Sold Out?

I was listening to ESPN Radio tonight and they were making fun of the new Arizona Cardinals stadium being named University of Phoenix Stadium which is an online college. And that got me thinking. What do you all think is the best name for a stadium that sold its naming rights?

I seriously believe that Great American Ballpark is by far the best and that’s not just cause I’m a Reds fan. When my dad and I first heard the name years ago he went crazy cause he thought they were going to name the stadium without selling the rights. We had no idea it was an insurance company at the time. We just thought it sounded awesome. I also love how they used Ballpark instead of Field or Stadium.

So what do you think is the best name for a sports stadium that sold out?

You can give me the worst name if you want.

    Best: Great American Ballpark
Worst: Quicken Loans Arena (Gund Arena in Cleveland)

University of Phoenix Stadium? Wow, that's a new level of awful.

I think U.S. Cellular Field is attrocious as is Minute Maid Park and Tropicana Field.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

The Arizona stadium was supposed to be called "Pink Taco Stadium."
I AM NOT LYING. There is a restaurant called that there. THAT would be the worst by far.

Yeah they talked about it on the ESPN show. That would have been awful.

Generally speaking I hate all of the corporate named parks. I understand that it's an amazing source of revenue but baseball stadiums should have names like Riverfront, 3-Rivers, Fulton County, Candlestick, The Polo Grounds, Ebets Field, etc etc. Not names like "Celluar One" or "Tropicanna". One is a phone company the other a casino. Neither are baseball stadium names.

Of all the corporate names, I'd say I hate "Comerica Park" the least.

In retrospect it would be hard to have a worse name than Enron Field.

    Beat me to it.

I also thought The Great American Ballpark was a great name myself - even think so, now that I know it is attached to a corporate name.

There's no competition for the best. GAB is the hands-down winner among those sold to corporate names.

    Good: Miller Park, Coors Field

    Bad: Comerica Park

Ugly: Petco Park, McAfee Colesium, AT&T Park

I thought Pro Player Stadium was acceptable, maybe even pretty good.
    (now Dolphin stadium)

I thought about Wrigley Field. I guess it really doesn't count since there weren't naming rights sold back in the day.

Isn't the 49ers football stadium called Monster Park?

I guess that "Open-Faced Roast Beef Sandwich Stadium" was never a serious contender.

Are you sure that wasn't King Taco?

I just find it funny that there's a U. of Phoenix football stadium when the U. of Phoenix doesn't even have a football team.
