I'd actually like to see their ploy work. I've wanted ESPNU for a while, but TW doesn't carry it. Since the wife will not get rid of cable, the only way I'll get the channel is if they add it.

Yeah, don't forget the 2002 Worlds Strongest Man Competition. Most of America would rather see some fat men carry around big rocks and roll big tires than college basketball I'm sure.

They can't, thats about the time of year that Dodgeball is at peak. Regional tournaments are winding down and seeding begins to take shape for the Championship tournament.

You guys are all wrong. Neither poker or the strongest man competition is on that night. It's actually the night that ESPN is televising the annual spelling bee. Seriously, kids spelling long words on the station that's the "worldwide leader in sports." I bet none of those nerds can spell Hrycaniuk.

Yeah, that's right cause the poker is going to be on Classic.

I remember them putting the NC/Duke game on espn2 in the early or mid 90's for a couple of years when ESpN2 was just getting started. I don't know if it was the same type of ploy as the UC/X game but it sounds familiar.
