What sucks is we only needed THREE more wins out west to be sitting with the Cards tied for 1st lol Thats the Scary part.

The good news is.. we have a Bullpen now, and had we not lost JR and Claussen we would prolly have gotten those 3 wins

But will the NL be this bad next year? Will those three wins get us to first place, or out of 4th next season?

Interesting question. The Mets might be the only team to win 90 and they're basically built for one year. The Padres and Dodgers are so-so and look to be for a while. The Braves' spring is starting to run dry. The Cubs looked poised a couple of years ago, but, being the Cubs, they frittered it away. Going into this year, I would've picked the Brewers as an up-and-coming team. Now, not so much. Cardinals and Astros are tired. Phils and Nationals - maybe.

On the other hand, the Rocks and Marlins have some interesting young players and the Giants are going to have a metric ton of money to spend.

You assume the club will stand pat? I'm not assuming that.

Absolutely not. I'm just saying that if next season we improve by three games will it really matter? Can we expect the Central or NL in general to be a .500 division, give or take.
