    AL Divisional Playoff Twins/A's

The best of the four matchups,IMO. Terrific pitching on both sides. Twins have been really hot but not having Liriano will hurt them in the playoffs. I'll take the A's in a really close five game series.

I'm rooting for the A's, but this is going to be a close series. I'd love for Frank Thomas to stay hot and carry the A's offense.

A's in 4. I think Zito beats Santana in game 1 and after that, the Twins pitching is looking very average at best.

The Twins live and die by batting average, so if their hitters slump, they'll be heading home in a hurry.

Santana twice in a short series -- I won't bet against the Twins.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Home field advantage for the Twins and Johan Santana is enough to let them move on.

This will be a very close series. I think the Twins win in 5. I think whoever wins this series will go on to win the ALCS and the World Series.

Go Twins, I will always root against the arrogance of the A's GM.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

The Big Hurt comes through in a big way in Game 1 -- 2 homers fuels an A's road victory vs. the Twins' ace.

Interesting. I root for Beane regardless of his arrogance because he's intelligent and creative.

I'm hoping for the A's as well. I'd like to see The Big Hurt get a ring.

He is both intelligent and creative and if he was gm of the Reds I would love him, but hes not and he is incredibly arrogant thus I despise him.
