Anybody see Chad Johnson's SportsCenter commercial yet?

For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism.

    Boo-Ya!

    Boo-No......

I'm pretty old-school when it comes to the flash and self-promotion of today's' athletes but I do like me some Chad. He's a hard-working passionate kid who has a lot of fun doing what he's doing.

I saw it sometime last week, but only the part with the football under the towel - truly some good stuff, and nice to see our guys get a nod from the national media there.

Great stuff! ESPN, with all the flack it gets these days (and mostly deserved), has always had some great ESPN-commercials... whether athletes, mascots, etc.

It's pretty good. It'd be funny if he pulled out one of those in an actual game this season.

Please, Chad Johnson, don't get arrested.

I don't think you have to worry about that.

Everyting I hear, is that his chatter and fun on the field is just the opposite off the field.

He studies like crazy, stays in a lot, very reserved, and minds his own business. He also spends a lot of time at the stadium trying to improve as a football player.

    More should be that way.

It's been said before that he sleeps at the stadium because he's there so late watching film.

    He's the anit-TO.

    I like it.

I've also read that Chad Johnson is somewhat shy in person, believe it or not.

That's true, at least from my experience. I ran into him in public once (grocery shopping at an odd hour and he was in the store) and he was incredibly reserved and quiet.

Same here. Just different time and place.
