Gullett and Borbon combine for a 5-1 victory over the NY Yankees in game one of the 1976 World Series. How old does that make you feel?

Happy to have been able to witness those teams.

I wouldn't have been born for another 9 years. How old does that make you feel?

Watching it on TV with my Mom and Dad!
In those things which we commit to practice we can master, and with mastery we have the freedom to use these skills whenever we desire, without this practice we are slaves to our inability.

I was 16 years old. Have to admit I was spoiled by the Reds and Steelers success of the 70s. The 80s sucked for both teams only to have the Reds regain the glorious crown back in 1990.

Still 16 years since the Reds last World Series win is a long, long time.

I am not sure what being older than a guy named Krusty makes me....

I was watching it on TV with my wife and 3 kids in the other room. Our daughter (3rd child) had just been born that August.

Bob Howsam's words after game 4 still haunt me...."this is probably the last time you will see a team like this."
    "Is there a problem officers?"
