Where Are They Now? - Ken Wilson

So I'm flipping through the sports package on DirecTV tonight, and on MASN they are showing baseball from the Hawaii Winter League.

Play-by-play announcer? Former Reds TV broadcaster Ken Wilson.

Nice gig this time of year, if you can get it.

Sidenote: Two or three years back when ESPN was honoring Hall of Fame Broadcasters and brought them onto the telecasts to share in play-by-play, Marty was among the first group. But in the promo for Marty, ESPN mistakenly played Ken Wilson's TV call of Pete's 4,192.

How do you screw that up?

Seems like it ran for 2-3 weeks before they finally fixed it.

Those of you with MLBEI or MLB.TV probably know this, but during the season, Ken Wilson does PBP on Astros' TV games.

Are you thinking of the estimable ex-Reds broadcaster Bill Brown?

You're right. Similar era, but wrong ex-Reds broadcaster.
