that '89 Upper Deck seems like so long ago.
"My mission is to be the ray of hope, the guy who stands out there on that beautiful field and owns up to his mistakes and lets people know it's never completely hopeless, no matter how bad it seems at the time. I have a platform and a message, and now I go to bed at night, sober and happy, praying I can be a good messenger." -Josh Hamilton

How about we give him a great present and ship him to a contender and get something younger with a ceiling in return?

By mid November he should be releasing those press tidings claiming how he is in the best shape of his career. He just can run after fly balls or round third base.

And ironically he shares a birthday with HOF'er Stan Musial and both were born (along with KG Sr.) in Denora, Pa. How ironic is that?

A better present would be 2 new hamstrings and 10 years back from his career.
