    Your Fantasy Teams....

    Sorry, I'm really bored....

How are your fantasy teams doing? I'm 1st in my football and basketball. Mostly proud of the football one cause normally I'm not very good.

    Football
    QB Manning
    WR TO
    WR C Johnson
    WR J Walker
    RB Taylor
    RB Dunn
    TE Colston
BNCH: Cadillac, Lundy, A Bryant, Dallas Clark, Berrian, Green
Defense: Dallas (been using the waiver wire for the best matchup)
    K: Kaeding

    Basketball
    PG Chauncy Billups
    SG Michael Redd
    G Brevin Knight
    SF Paul Pierce
    PF Shawn Marion
    F Quentin Richardson
    C Carlos Boozer
    C Emeka Okafor
    Util Zaza Pachulia
    Util Al Harrington
    Bench: Andre Iguoidala
    Injured: Pau Gasol, Shaquille O'Neal
    - Once Pau Gasol comes back I think I'm gonna end up running away with the league. Hopefully anyway

So, what do your teams look like?

    Re: Your Fantasy Teams....

That basketball team is rediculous. I'm assuming that when Gasol gets back you'll be able to move Boozer into the F spot and take Richardson out. No way should you not win that league.

My best fantasy football team this year is now 12-0 and have scored by far the most points in the league.

    QB - Bulger
    RB - LT
    RB - Westbrook
    WR - Holt
    WR - Wayne
    TE - Watson
    K - Kaeding
    DEF - Miami

    BN - Vick
    BN - F. Taylor
    BN - Roy Williams
    BN - Desmond Clark
    BN - Jacobs
    BN - Booker

Now it's just a matter of not going up against a team in the semis or finals that has their game of the year against me.

Wow, good team... I'm 7-2 (didn't start it at the beginning of the season), but only 2nd in points (barely)

    Re: Your Fantasy Teams....

My team is about to go to 10-2 on the season (unless Shaun Alexander runs for 300 yards and scores 7 touchdowns):

    QB: Drew Brees
    RB: Larry Johnson
    RB: Frank Gore
    WR: Reggie Wayne
    WR: Anquan Bolden
    TE: Antonio Gates
    K: Josh Scobee
    DEF: Jacksonville

    BN (QB): Rex Grossman
    BN (RB): Julius Jones
    BN (WR): Deion Branch
    BN (WR): Jerricho Cotchery
    BN (WR): Micheal Clayton
    BN (DEF): Dallas

    IR (RB): Clinton Portis

I'm proud of my team this year. It's a 12 team league, and with the exception of Scobee (my kicking game has been a mess this year), Grossman and Cotchery, every player on my roster was an original draft pick at the start of the season.

Losing Portis wasn't as big a deal as I would've thought it would be at the start of the year, since he was pretty much a bust this season. Bolden has been up and down this year with Leinart at QB, but he's been more productive than not.

I like my team heading into the playoffs.

    Re: Your Fantasy Teams....

I'm tied for second place and second in points.

    Eli / Brad Johnson
    Larry Johnson
    Frank Gore
    Kevin Jones
    Houshmandzadeh
    Larry Fitz
    Torry Holt
    Chris Henry
    Greg Jennings
    Robbie Gould
    Kellen Winslow
    Minnestoa/ Philly defense

I was in sixth place for the longest time with the most points scored.

    I hate that.

We have a guy who over the last two years is something like 18 and 8 yet has scored the least amount of points. It's awful. And he can't understand why we joke about it.

    "A win is a win..."

Yeah, but people with better teams are losing.

The weird thing: I've beaten him everytime I've played him (provided Seattle's defense doesn't score 34 points tonight on me).

Best move I made: choosing Frank Gore over Thomas Jones.

Worst: Picking LJ first when I knew I should have taken LT.

I would be winning hands down right now had I done that one little thing.

    Same with me.

I out-thought myself on the LJ over LT pick -- I knew I wasn't going to take Alexander (fool me once, Madden curse...), but then I went into this whole crap line of reasoning that teams would start stacking the box big time against LT since Rivers was unproven as a QB and then I started thinking about how San Diego had no wideouts and figured that Rivers was sure to struggle....

    ...ugh.

I don't think I'd have lost a game this year if I had taken LT instead with my #1 pick. At least I redeemed myself with other picks.

    Re: Your Fantasy Teams....

That happened to me, I had the second pick and the first guy (who is in last.) took S.Alexander and I took Larry Johnson instead of Ladainian Tomlinson(who was took by the third guy.)

Takes a brave man to do it. Most teams who take Manning with the first pick have an ugly RB situation.

You did a terrific job with your team- you went with strong wideouts and still have some decent RBs.

    Re: Your Fantasy Teams....

    Thanks.

It wasn't a live draft so I couldn't really help it but I ended up picking Reggie Bush with my 4th pick (35th overall). Yuck. Could have had Wayne, Burress, among others. Didn't pre rank very well lol

    This league drafted pretty weird.

    1) Hasselbeck (what were they thinking?)
    2) Alexander
    3) LT
    4) Baltimore D
    5) Tiki Barber
    6) P Manning
    7) Portis
    8) Larry Johnson
    9) Harrison
    10) Rudi Johnson

Looking back I should have drafted Larry Johnson, and then got Carson Palmer or Tom Brady in the 2nd round. That would have been nice.

    Re: Your Fantasy Teams....

My team is finally hitting it's stride. It's currently 7-4-1 and I sit a half game out of first in my division.

    QB: Palmer
    RB: C. Taylor
    RB: B. Westbrook
    WR: L. Fitzgerald
    WR: J. Walker
    WR: D. Henderson
    DEF: San Diego
    K: Carney

    Bench
    QB: B. Johnson
    RB: Addai
    RB: Maroney
    RB: Houston
    RB: A. Harris
    WR: Henry
    WR: B. Edwards
    DEF: Cincinnati

    IR
    WR: Colston

I would have set a league record for points scored in a game this past week if I had started Henderson, Addai and Bengals Defense over Edwards, either RB and SD Defense. I still won rather convincingly.

Best Move: Traded Ronnie Brown and Carolina Defense for Westbrook and Colston prior to Colston's three game "on-fire" streak.

Worst Move: Trade Chad Johnson for Joseph Addai two weeks prior to Chad going out of this world. I only made this move because 1) my WR corp is deep 2) I liked Addai's second half outlook 3) I traded Reggie Bush for Larry Fitzgerald.

Cincinnati Defense? I'd probably drop that even with them shutting out the Browns.

    Is Colston still hurt.

my fantasy football team that is in second is 7-4-1 and I've won six of my last seven games.
