Whoa! You don't want to do that. I posted a link to a Redszone thread over there a couple of years ago and crashed this board. They have way too many members.

    I'm all for chaos.

Rice is somewhat of a divisive figure. Sure, the guy could rake. But they named the website "Sons of Sam Horn" and not "Sons of Jim Rice" for a reason.

How, then, are those people of the future—who are taking steroids every day—going to look back on baseball players who used steroids? They're going to look back on them as pioneers. They're going to look back at it and say "So what?" - Bill James, Cooperstown and the 'Roids

I group Rice and Parker along with Andre Dawson and Dale Murphy in a quartet of outfielders who are often mentioned as HOF candidates. I'm never been able to decide which of them was better (probably Dawson). They probably should either all be in the HOF or none of them should be.

In these PC times shouldn't that be "Native American Bob"?

    Yeah...well Parker had 10 90+ rbi seasons compared to Rice's 9.

Because SOSH is a cooler acronym than SOJR, or even SOCY?
