From Rotoworld:

Pirates signed RHP Yoslan Herrera to a three-year contract.
It was reported last week that the Pirates had concerns about his physical, but those must have gone away. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette, Herrera is guaranteed $1.92 million over the three years and can earn up to $1.2 million per year in bonuses. The 25-year-old Herrera had a record of 18-7 with a 3.27 ERA during his career in Cuba. The Pirates believe he can be a starting pitcher in the majors, but after all the time off, he's probably going to open 2007 in the minors. NL-only leaguers will want to follow his progress.
