I'll feign excitement when he becomes a pitcher.

    I'll feign excitement when he...

Jerry Gil now plays for a team that emerges nightly from a cornfield. D.T. Cromer is the 1B. Jeff Jones, Mike Frank and Van Snider make up the OF. D.J. Mattox and Luke Prokopec are rotation cornerstones though Luke Hudson is, of course, the ace.

    Who's Jerry Gil?

    With more strikeouts...if that's possible.

I was thinking of a AA Pedro Cerrano. Straight ball he hit hard. Curve ball not so much. Gil's gonna go vodoo with the Bats.

    Stay tuned.

Um, that's pretty much Rolando Roomes.

Someone said he would have batted .500 in the minors if he wasn't striking out. And if my aunt had wheels she'd be a wagon, too.

I was thinking Keefe Cato, but Neu would do. Now if somebody can just remember who that scrappy 2B the Reds had in Chattanooga in 1998 (the one princeton loved), we'd have a team for the ages.
