    I believe Jose's was injured related - he broke his collarbone last month testing out the physics of motorcycle/automobile impacts & how they affect the human body.

    whats even worse though was that after that spring, no one else even picked him up.

    He was named in some of the early steroid scandals (from when he was a Giant) along with Armando Rios and Marvin Benard. I wonder if that had something to do with it.
