staying close to home.
staying close to home.
School's out. What did you expect?
I'll start by watching the Bengals/Steelers game, and then I'll have to juggle the remote for an hour between that and the UD/UNC game, the football game should be over by halftime.
In the evening time I will get insanely drunk and likely fall asleep/pass out well before midnight.
Debauchery and mayhem
Guttle11,
Just don't let this happen:
Next Reds manager, second shooter. --Confirmed on Redszone.
Yup...staying home!!
Going to a strip club and celebrating new years with some strippers.
In other words, a normal Sunday night.

No work the next day can only mean one thing...all night poker!
The seven most magic words in all the land...
"If, in the opinion of the referee,..."
Probably hanging out with the girlfriend and her friends (New Years Day is our anniversary so I can't very well get away with anything else). It's ok though, maybe take her out for a nice dinner and try to find something romantic after that. Like someone else said, probably will start making plans around 8 or 9 pm.
Helping my friend Matt watch his little brother and sister, so our parents can go out...
Let's make some noise!
Given this week, I am probably going to be sleeping. And that sounds dandy to me about now.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
My celebration is Friday- I got for Christmas Todd Snider tickets for Friday at Southgate House in Newport and a hotel (3 hour drive) so we will spend Sunday at home.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Not much for going out, we usually go to a restaurant early and get home before the craziness starts, but no choice this year. I tore my right achillies tendon on Christmas eve...spent the day in the MRI machine and the OR. No walking for 6 weeks. The darn cast must weigh 20 lbs! It is extremely frustrating when you need to have help doing the most simple chores in life.
Even when I partied I rarely went out on new years eve. Too much "amature hour" combined with too many cops!
Mrs. Ltlabner and I will probably follow our established ritual. Stay up till we are tired (usually around 10:30pm) go to bed, and say happy new year when we wake up in the morning.
Bengals vs Steelers by day....and hopefully a New Year's Eve party by night.
Should be a mess
(and of course, NO DRIVING)
First I'm going to be glad that chemo hasn't entered my life.
Then I'm going to have a couple homemade margaritas, using this recipe.
(Use Limeaid, not an off brand.) Put the entire contents of the Limeaid in the blender, fill the can with tequela and dump that into the blender. Fill the can half way with triple sec, dump that into the blender. Blend with ice and enjoy.
Fast asleep far before midnight.
Will trade this space for a #1 starter.
