Little man will be named Alexander. He is destined to be a "Great" Power Hitter or Flame Throwing South Paw. He'll be eating his "num, nums" with his left hand for sure. Terribly excited. My daughter is excited. She wants to show him how to walk and feed him. We'll need her help.
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

I remember your little one at the RZ gathering at your bar. She was a cute little thing. Not so little anymore I am guessing.

Yes, you WILL need therapy when she goes off to college. Both my daughters just completed their first semester at a university which, thankfully, is only a 2 hours drive from home, but it still seems like they are "gone" most of the time. My wife and I miss them terribly but are very thankful that they are doing well, that they are such good gals, and that our lives are blessed by them.
Hold on to every minute with her, TC. It will seem like tomorrow that she'll be all grown up! Sounds like we have something in common---Baseball is the greatest game on earth, but nothing's even in the ballpark with one's children!

Thank you for the sentiments. I choose parenting over Baseball any day. Hearing my daughter call me "dad" beats anything anyone could accomplish on the field, IMO. My daughter is very loving and quite the cuddler. Oh how I love Saturday Mornings in the winter. She can hit me sqaure in the chest with a ball from 20 ft at age 5 1/2. How cool is that?
