    Great news for David Pollack.

"ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Pollack's surgery went so well that doctors have told him that assuming rehab goes well, he can expect to make a full recovery and resume his playing career in 2007 if he so desires."

Seems amazingly impossible. I hope that's the case! Pollack's a good dude. Would love to see him in stripes next season.

Great news for David - while it would be great to see him play again, just seeing him get a whole lot better is good enough.

Can he play any different? I mean he is what he is. He goes all out like a Freel with shoulder pads. He has to change the way he hit's people, and that is hard to do, because it comes natural. He leads with his head.

Dave Lapham speculated that if he does come back he will come back as a defensive end, less chance to play in space with head to head collisions. He said that about two weeks ago.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

That's great for David, even if he never really makes it back to the NFL. At least his health is OK.
School's out. What did you expect?

A break for the Bengals is welcome right now--no pun intended.
