Bengals give Geathers a 6 year extension

The Bengals forced a good bit of the money into THIS seaons I believe.



They did the same thing last year with Palmer, signed him to a big contract and forced a large chunk of the money into the 2005 years pool.

I guess the Bengals are making good coin if they feel they can force the bonuses into the current year so the player is cheaper against the cap in the following years?

I didn't like this deal at first, until I looked at the numbers.

He is extreamly young and had 10 1/2 sacks Looks like he may have some upside.
