"Kosher for Passover" Coke will be on the shelves, probably with the specially marked yellow lid.
Also, I don't know if it's true in Oregon, but here in Northern Nevada you can often get Coke and Pepsi imported from Mexico that is made with real sugar at hole-in-the-wall taquerias and burrito places.

NJ has one of the lowest tax rates on gas in the nation. There has been much talk about raising it, however it's also seen as political suicide, and no politician has had the guts to push very far on the issue.

a lot of us don't drive much either. Although I'm not one of those you'll find riding their bike at night, in the winter, in the rain. Surprising how many do though....

As far as gas tax goes 42% here and 30% in Georgia, and we both know Georgia lags way behind the rest of the free world in limiting growth and pollution.

Or even doing a basic tuneup on your car anymore. You pop the hood - the engine is in sideways and you can't find anything. It use to be that when you looked down into the engine compartment you could see the ground underneath. Not any more.

And it came in glass bottles. My Mom still has the milk box from 45+ years ago.

Did anyone ever get Mr Chip potato chips (in a big tin) delivered to your house?

Dog N Suds. The RB wasn't that great, but I loved their footlong coneys. They still exist in isolated locations in the midwest. Two of the original buildings exist here, but they are pizza places.

Everywhere in NJ, they pump it for you, and expect a tip.

If I can't pump my own, why the heck should I tip you for just doing your job?
