    Walk it Out

OK, some of you know I've been substitue teaching on the side...mostly in the very downtrodden OKC school district. Well, through osmosis, I've become a little more "hip" to the current pop culture through this job. But my most engaging foray into the culture happened by pure accident. I'm not totally sure on the details, but one day while teaching an elementary PE class, I think I may have been trying to a kid to "walk it off," but instead, I said "walk it out." Well, the class ERUPTED w/ what you will see in these video links. They went INSANE. So, at different schools, I tested the kids by uttering "walk it out." Well, the reaction is the same everywhere. It's like a social experiement, all I have to do is utter those three words and I get an instant reaction from an entire group of children.

You should try it--- just go up to some kid and say, "walk it out"---- this is what you might see: (Please look at all 4)

It is also, apparantly, a competition....

That's a great song, but I couldn't quite catch some of the lyrics. What was the third line? For some reason, I think it was something like "now walk it out," but I'm not sure.

Actually, unless Toby Keith sings it, it's not.

I'll ask my wife, though. She digs rap.

    Re: Walk it Out

Hate to say it JF, seeing I'm a Sooner and Toby Keith is a die-hard Sooner supporter, but I hate his music more than anything else in the entertainment world. I actually hate just about every country song recorder past somewhere around 1985, and his style epitomizes what I hate so much. So, yeah, I'd take walk it out, over any TK song anyday. Guess I wouldn't make it in Olathe, huh?
