Man, some of those I wasn't sure if it was commercials, or if my dad had accidentally flipped on porn in the middle of the game.

No Gimmicks? Maybe you didn't see the little "shadow play" with Prince's guitar doubling as a giant phallus?

I'm not a prude (could care less about the JJ nipple show), but after all the backlash from that...this was kind of pushing it (trying to see what they could get away with). Not necessary.

Otherwise, Prince was pretty good. Better than the Stones last year, IMO.

I won't argue with that, Prince put on a good show, and I liked the marching band as well.

I don't get Prince. I watched My Boys during halftime.

As far as the game, it went almost to exact predictions, I thought. Congrats Colts.

I don't know if there has ever been a worst quarterback in the Super Bowl. I wonder if the Bears will look at Troy Smith late in the first round?

Why would they look at Troy Smith? They need to IMPROVE their QB position...

My sister and I dubbed him "Train" during the game, as in "Train" Rex Grossman.

I don't know the Bears depth chart well enough, but it doesn't seem that they have any glaring weaknesses besides QB. I would think they might take a chance with a Troy Smith late in the first round since they don't have any other big holes to fill (unless they expect to lose a lot in free agency).

This was Grossman's 1st full year as a starter. His team won 13 regular season games. Give him a break. What was Mannings numbers his 1st year as a starter and how many games did he win?

The bears defense left the Colts offense on the field way to long. The offense had too many turnovers. It was a team loss.

Grossman was not great, but he was not the reason they lost the game. He will never be as good as Manning, few will, but he will lead them to the playoffs again next year with the chance to be back in the big game. That is all you can ask of a QB. He will be a better QB next year and the year after that. This is Mannings 9th season in the league I believe.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

The Bears have to be the favorite in the NFC going into next season right now, there's nobody really close to them.

Again, I have seen only a handful of Bears games this year but I would say that the Bears' defense and Jones/Benson led them to the playoffs. While Grossman did have a few good games, most of their wins were despite Rex's turnovers. I really don't have anything against Rex and I hope he does improve, but I don't see how you can have that much confidence in the guy not to turn it over at least 3 times a game.

    I don't get Prince.
If he were anything other than a musician, he would be beaten up everyday of his life.

I think the Bears would have played better with Brian Griese.

Troy Smith will be lucky to be drafted on the first day, let alone the first round...

New Orleans will be good again next year. If they can get some help in Free Agency they will be even better. Joe Horn will be back too.
